Malik's Fire Dragon 8Malik blinked his eyes as he slowly came to. He was in his bedroom laying in his bed. His head ached horribly. He groaned and rolled over onto his right side. He felt something pulling at his hair as he slowly began to sit up.
He felt a pair or small, cold hands press against his bare and fevered chest, pushing him down softly but firmly. He didn't protest. He head hurt far to much to bother forcing his way up.

The "Rage" of a DaiIt had been a long day at the bureau for Malik Al-Sayf. Two novices had crashed through the roof in a desperate attempt to escape local guards. It was successful, but the roof was damaged thanks to it. As he yelled and cursed at the novices in his rage, he accidently knocked over his ink well and ruined the map he had been correcting. Malik's Fire Dragon 7The trip back to Masyaf was easier and much faster then they had of expected. Despite the fact that one of the horses had died only a day after they had left the Templar encamptment, the remaining horses held up find and both made it back to the fortress and became a part of the regular breeding stock.
Ysbal sat in a chair in front of Altair and Malik as they explained how everything was going to work. She moved her thumbs around the other as she listened silently.
